Supporting Working Families

Steve opposes so-called “Right to Work” legislation and is a proud supporter of unions and working families. He believes an attack on union workers is an attack on all working Missourians.

Steve has supported efforts at the ballot and in the legislature to raise the minimum wage, and will fight any effort to overturn the will of the voters. He believes the state’s unemployment benefits should be kept at 20 weeks, and opposes efforts to reduce those benefits.
